Affiliate Marketing, otherwise called sales partnership, could be shortly described as a revenue sharing between website owner, otherwise called publisher and merchant, otherwise called advertiser.
This is definitely a web business partnership. Probably, this business system is the most profitable way of earning money on the Internet and is based on profit sharing, between merchants and their affiliates. According to the agreement, the affilitaes promote the products of the merchants, by various ways on the Internet. Usually, the main goal is to drive potential customers to the merchant's site, to finnish the sales.

The ways to earn money by afiliates
Technicaly, there are 3 main types of ways of earning money from Affiliate Marketing;
- Cost Per Sale, otherwise called Pay Per Sale. In this case, affiliates throught marketing efforts, send customers to the related pages of merchant, where sales is acknowledged by customer purchase. Each sale means commission for you (affiliate). This type of cost per sale contracts, are used by eBay and Amazon.com, as for example.
- Cost Per Load, otherwise called Pay Per Lead. The number of users is the factor. Which means that, merchant sites make payments to affiliates in accordance with the number of users. Many companies (merchants) sell informations about users to another companies, as the user capacity.
- Cost Per Click, otherwise called Pay Per Click. In this contract, merchant supply some kind of advertising materials, like banners, text ads, ready made splash pages or other method. Merchants pays commission to affiliates, for each user that clicks on the given advertisiment. Commission is paid even, if no any sales occured.
